Planetary Drive
Originally Falk caption reads, "Drive to separate a mixture of coal and water. Our [Falk's] unit is part of a process in which coal is pulverized at the mine mixed with water and pumped through pipe lines to the power station. The device separates the coal from the slurry and after additional drying, is blown into a furnace to generate steam to drive turbines producing electric power. The installation will be operating near Reno, Nevada. Our [Falk} unit is 39.5 inches in diameter, 37 inches end to end and weighs about 4000 pounds." |
