Two Men Inspecting a Gear
Two men inspect a large gear which was later purchased by DeLaval Steam Turbine Company of Trenton, New Jersey. Original Falk caption reads, "This gear is shown on Falk Drawing 319935. The gear blank and hobs were furnished by DeLaval. The gear has 610 DeLaval HB teeth of 3.38779 DP, 55 1/2 inch face, 3 1/2 gap, 27 degree helix angle, 180.059 pitch diameter equals 3.811687 and the normal circular pitch equals .824202. Note the 55 1/2 face width." |
