Portrait of Milwaukee Braves traveling secretary George Edward "Duffy" Lewis. After a notable major league career with the Red Sox, Yankees and Senators, Lewis (1888-1979) served for three decades as traveling secretary for the Braves, first in Boston and then Milwaukee. He played for the Boston Red Sox from 1910-1917, where he was a member of the "Million Dollar Outfield" along with Hall of Famers Tris Speaker and Harry Hooper. |
