Bob Buhl

Portrait of Milwaukee Braves pitcher Bob Buhl. The least heralded of the Braves' Big Three pitchers, right-hander Buhl was indispensable to the team's 1957 pennant victory. Despite missing three weeks with arm trouble, his 18 wins were second on the club and third in the National League. He was second in the NL in winning percentage, 4th in ERA, 5th in complete games, and 7th in strikeouts. |
