The McCarthy Record, a publication of the Wisconsin Citizen's Committee on McCarthy's Record in an effort to effect the re-election campaign of Senator Joseph R. McCarthy. The project was edited by Morris Rubin of the Progressive Magazine and written by Miles McMillin of the Capital Times and Ed Bayley of the Milwaukee Journal. Despite the effort to sway voters based on facts of McCarthy's career, the publication was viewed as a partisan work and it had little effect on the election. |
