Nazi Party Support for HUAC

Members of the Nazi Party demonstrating in behalf of the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC). This photograph is part of the records of the National Committee Against Repressive Legislation which was formed in 1960 as the National Committee to Abolish the House Un-American Activities Committee. Although the censure of Senator Joseph R. McCarthy is often cited as end of extreme anti-Communism, HUAC continued until the mid 1970s. |
