Kohler Demonstration Home, Guest Room
Guest room in the 1929 demonstration home in Kohler, Wisconsin. The decor featured lavender organdie curtains, a flowered cretonne covered chair, a cane seat bench and a highboy with painted floral designs. The bedspread is Chinese filet, green over lavender sateen. The rugs are braided in black, green and yellow. The walls are light cream moresco. This photograph was part of a scrapbook presented to Marie C. Kohler, chair of the event. |
