Junior Red Cross Ball Committee
| Pictured left to right: David Miller; Elaine Schoenoff, West High; and Pat Anderson, East High, members of the Madison Youth Council and committee members of the Junior Red Cross Ball, "Apple Blossom Time," in the Loraine Hotel ballroom where the event will be held on April 12 to raise money for the National Children's fund for the purchase of food and medicine for children in war-torn countries. A new national fund, made up of tax money from phonograph record sales, has been set aside to pay expenses of bands and orchestras for benefit concerts and dances so that all profits can be turned over to the National Children's Fund. |
