Pigs Loose in Nakoma
Four men wrestling with escaped pigs in the backyard of a home in the Nakoma neighborhood. A truck loaded with about 80 hogs overturned in the 3600 block of Nakoma Road near the arboretum duck pond and "pigs ran all over Nakoma" in the words of Police Officer John D. Henry. Hogs were rounded up by the police officers and men from the Oscar Mayer and Co. packing firm. |
