South Pediment, called "The Virtues and Traits of Character," by the sculptor Adolph Weinman. One of four groups of granite statuary on the exterior of the Wisconsin State Capitol. The central female figure symbolizes Wisdom. She has a winged skull in her left hand representing Thought, and a mirror in her right hand representing Reflection. |
