Photograph taken for International Harvester's Agricultural Extension Department. Folder: Weeds The original photograph caption reads, "Figures - John Van Ness, and niece and nephew. Notice how well they pose. They were very courteous and helpful. We asked them to allow us to get a picture and Mr. Van Ness left his work of sorting and packing tomatoes. The girl came from her work in the house and the boy was called from a field at least a quarter to a half mile away. All of them entered heartily into the spirit of the picture. We gave them one copy of the photograph." |
