Atwood / Buck-Neckerman House

Atwood / Buck-Neckerman House | Photograph | Wisconsin Historical Society
A rear view of the Atwood / Buck-Neckerman house, at 210-214 Monona Avenue (now Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard). Built by David Atwood and his partner Royal Buck as a double house in the 1840s. Caption reads: "Although many obvious alterations had been made in the house, it is the writers belief that the original house was considerably smaller than the house shown here. This is apparent from the interior structural details laid bare during the razing. It is impossible to say just what constituted the original building. The Insurance building is in the background."
