Sawyer Residence
A view of the residence of Philetus Sawyer, mayor of Oshkosh from 1863-1864. A group of children are sitting on the lawn on the right. Sawyer was also a U.S. Senator in 1881, and died in 1900. This residence is located at the northwest corner of Algoma and West Algoma streets. Caption reads: "Sawyer Residence, Oshkosh, Wis." |
