This house was built by B.L. Nutt (Benjamin and Sarah Nutt) in 1875. They came to Sheboygan County in the 1840's and settled in the town of Lyndon where they operated a dairy farm. In 1875 they built "a substantial cream city brick residence" as told in newspaper accounts at the time. Sarah died in the home in 1895 and Ben died in the home in 1905. It is a Sheboygan county landmark. |
