Harvesting scene with groups of men, women, and boys and multiple reapers hitched to oxen. Foothills or mountains are in the background, behind a row of trees. Women and boys are in the field gathering shocks of grain. Men are standing in the field or seated on binders. Two men are on horse back. Men are wearing a variety of hat styles from light straw, dark bowlers, to medium colored medium brimmed models. Boys are wearing caps, and some of them appear to be wearing knickers. One of the women wears a Western style long skirt with apron and is bareheaded. The other women are wearing short or long head scarfs, long skirts, full blouses and either vests or jackets. |
