Home Store or Big Store was built by Mr. George Scott in 1901, and was the town's main general store, which was built to replace the old Knapp, Stout & Company's company store after that company had sold out most of its interests in this town. In 1917, the Farmers' Store Company of Bloomer, Wis. bought this store. Caption reads: "Home Store, Prairie Farm, Wis."
DESCRIPTION
