Centennial Mural Sketch
A preliminary sketch for the left panel of the Centennial Mural in the Wisconsin Historical Society. The panel represents Wisconsin's political history. Assuming a prominent place in the sketch is "Fighting Bob" La Follette in front of the Ripon school house, which is to the left of a depiction of the assassination of Charles Arndt. Between the rails stands Governor Coles Bashford and beside Bashford is James Duane Doty. In the background the Wisconsin State capitol can be seen. |
