The handwritten text on the postcard reads: "Dear Aunt Nell, If nothing happens papa will be at Green Bay to take supper with you Saturday night. Did you get mama's letter? Mama wishes she could go to (sic). Why don't the kids write to me? Tell them to. Well good by (sic). Your loving niece, Lottie Harris." per an email on 2/23/2007, Linda Freehling of Baroda, MI states: "This postcard may have been written by Charlotte (Lottie) May HARRIS b. 1894 in Sturgeon Bay, dau. of Joseph Edward HARRIS, III & Mary J. DARLING, to Mary's sister & Lottie's aunt Nellie E. (DARLING) McFARLANE. Lottie later m. Joseph Stanley GABERT who is my 1/2 first cousin once removed.
