Arthur Jacob Edmonds identified by his great granddaughter, Dee A. Grimsrud, WHS Reference Archivist 1996-2011. The roundhouse was built in the 1860s and was one of many placed at 40 mile intervals along the main line track in Wisconsin to service the old steam engines during their runs. This roundhouse was razed in 1954 to make way for a parking lot for diesels. |
