Bird's-Eye View of New Glarus
Die Grundung und Entwicklung der Kolonie Neu Glarus (The Founding and Development of the Colony of New Glarus). This German language pamphlet was published in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1894. Written by a teacher named D. Durst, it is an early history of the town of New Glarus, in Green County, and founded by Swiss immigrants in the 1840's. Included with the pamphlet are the plat maps and a rare Bird's-Eye view of the town. |
