The Timothy Burns tablet in Burns Park, near Main Street. The tablet reads: "To perpetuate the record of the gift of Burns Park to La Crosse by Hon. Timothy Burns, Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin 1851-1853. This tablet is erected by his grand-children of 1938, sponsored by La Crosse D.A.R." Dedicated October 4, 1938. |
