Community War Chest Office
Three women work in the Community War Chest office. One of the women is typing and one is about to use the telephone. A sign on the wall behind the women reads: "1944 Madison War Chest $40,000 goal, Let's Finish the Fight!" Madison War Chest contributes money to the National War fund to support 21 voluntary agencies working for GIs still in service, including USO, and the Allies. |
