Eau Claire House: The Second Structure

View from street towards the hotel. Two people are in the entry on the corner, and a few people stroll on the sidewalk. Cable car tracks line the road out front, and cable car cables run overhead. Eau Claire House, torn down and replaced by "present" Eau Claire Hotel. The building shown replaced the first Eau Claire House, a wooden structure, built in 1857, the first hotel of the village. |
