Advertising piece from a New York convention of the Dancing Masters of America. Featured are DM of A master faculty: Judith Ann Sproule and F.W. Kehl (waltz, on the left) and Leo T. Kehl and Elizabeth Wheeler (fox trot, on right). In the center is possibly Velos and Yolanda (swing). DM of A conventions were an opportunity for professional dancers to acquaint themselves with the latest social dances. The two Kehls were from the Kehl School of Dance in Madison, Wisconsin. |
