Ed Linnell on Steam Tractor
Ed Linnell stands on a steam tractor. Steam drives the horizontal piston, just behind the smokestack which runs the flywheel, on opposite side, which spun a long belt to operate implements such as a threshing machine. The tractor faces to left, Ed stands with his hand on the steering wheel, facing viewer. The two long chains to the front wheels were used to change direction of the wheels. |
