Masonic Hall

Text reads: "Masonic Hall at the corner of College Avenue and Oneida Street; built in 1855 by Theodore Conkey, it burned in 1874. The Zuehlke Building was built on this site later. The Clegett Barber Shop was at the extreme right. The Masonic rooms were on the top story, and various shops and businesses below. The two boys on Oneida Street are Fred and Frank Jerrard. The tall man is Dyer Fox; next is Mr. Burdick. W.F. Montgomery stands in the doorway, newspaper in hand. The small boy with the dog is Beverly Gilmore, and the dog belonged to Mark Lyon. Prof. Cuthbert, music teacher, wears striped pantaloons." |
