Photographer Jason Wilkins was active in Oshkosh between 1866 and 1970. Powell was a soldier, trader, and interpreter for the Menominee Indians. Notes for an interview of Powell by Lyman Draper are held at the Wisconsin Historical Society as SC 1934. |
