View of A. Anderson's Farm from Field

A stereograph perhaps taken at the same time as the "Three different views of the village of Argyle, Wis." mentioned in Dahl's 1877 "Catalogue of Stereoscopic Views." Fence, made with rails and uprights, diagonally cuts across foreground with cornfield behind. The house has a porch on the first and second level. The barn has two cupolas and lean-to on gable end. |
