Fisher Company International Harvester Dealership

"Prototype" dealership building of the Fisher Company. A Farmall Super A tractor is parked to the left of the building. This "prototype" dealership building was built as part of International Harvester's "Dealer Base of Operations Program." By February of 1948, 386 dealerships had been built on the prototype plan. Another 617 dealerships were under construction or had been built on a modified prototype plan. Eventually over 1800 such dealerships were built worldwide. |
