Chris Borg, Deering Factory Superintendent

Portrait of Chris Borg (1859-1945), superintendent of International Harvester's Deering Works. Mr. Borg started as a metal patternmaker in the Deering Harvester Company factory on October 5, 1882. He became Assistant Superintendent of the factory on May 1, 1899. In 1901, he was appointed Superintendent. In 1902, the factory became International Harvester's Deering Works. He was International Harvester's Works Manager of European plants from 1908-1914. He retired in 1921. |
