Louis Erikson
A head and shoulders studio portrait of Louis Erickson, a private in Company B, 15th Wisconsin Infantry. The following information was obtained from the Regimental and Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20: He resided in Buffalo City, Wisconsin. On February 17, 1864, he enlisted in La Crosse, Wisconsin and on November 17, 1864, he was mustered into service in La Crosse, Wisconsin at the age of 18. He joined Company B, 15th Wisconsin infantry on April 8, 1864, at Knoxville, Tennessee. He was transferred to Company H, 15th Wisconsin Infantry on December 01, 1864, at Look Out Creek, Tennessee. He was then transferred to Company I, 13th Wisconsin Infantry on June 10, 1865 at Nashville, Tennessee. He was mustered out of service with Company I on November 24, 1865 in San Antonio, Texas. |
