Harvesting Cranberries

Two Ho-Chunk men wearing beaded shirts are gathering cranberries (hoocake) alongside a Ho-Chunk woman and a white man and woman. A large group of cranberry harvesters are in the background. The men must have been told in advance that a photographer was coming to take pictures, otherwise they would have never worn beaded shirts to work. |
