Railroad Bridge over Tomahawk River
View from shoreline towards the Soo Line railroad bridge crossing the Tomahawk River at Bradley, Wisconsin. The bridge, built in 1886, was 126 ft. long and roofed with corrugated sheet iron. It was rebuilt in 1900 as a steel span with concrete abutments. Men are standing on the opposite shoreline looking up the embankment towards the train, which is hauling two small buildings on flatbed cars. There are logs piled up on both shorelines. |
