Dr. Temin was a professor of virology and oncology and worked in the McArdle Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He won the 1975 Noble Prize in Medicine or Physiology. The path runs 1.6 miles from Memorial Union West to the entrance of Picnic Point and is the longest length of public shoreline on Lake Mendota. |
