War Damage to International Harvester's Nancy Branch House
Damaged interior of an International Harvester warehouse attached to the company's branch house at Nancy, France. Nazi Luftwaffe aircraft wings and tailfins are visible among the rubble. Total estimate for damage done to warehouse was 1,450,187.50 francs. Original report reads: "The property was occupied by German armed forces. Before leaving Nancy they blew up the airplanes which they had sheltered in the warehouse at the same time damaging the roof, sides, etc., of the building." |
