Wisconsin State Capitol Interior — Assemblyman
Otto Onstad, a newly elected assemblyman from Dane County, in the newly constructed Assembly Chamber of the present Wisconsin State Capitol. He is sitting at a row of desks from the third Wisconsin State Capitol, suggesting that a substantial number were rescued from the flames during the fire of 1904. The old desks were sold in 1913 when new furniture was purchased. However, two old desks are on display in the Assembly hall. |
