Madison Turnverein Acrobats

Twelve boys and girls, coached by J.C. Haberman, in an acrobatic/gymnastic pose at the Madison Turners Hall, 21 South Butler Street. They performed seven "acts" at the Policemen's Protective Association benefit picnic for The Capital Times Kiddie Camp fund at the French Village in Miller's Park on South Park Street. Madison's Turnverein was founded in 1855 by German immigrants to encourage physical and mental development. |
