Presented by William W. Bartlett of Eau Claire, WI, 1912 See Image ID: 78934 for a photograph of a painting by C.L. Richman, owned by Mr. Shedd of Marshall Field and Co., Chicago. The painting may have been done over a copy of the Vicksburg photograph. This picture also exists as a lithograph issued by Dunlap, Sewall and Spaulding of Chicago, and as a wood engraving in Frank Leslie's illustrated newspaper.
