Clarence Hean was the son of Jane Leslie Findlay Hean Potter. He was head librarian at the UW College of Agriculture, 1908-1952. "Robbie G." could be Robert Leslie Gates, a realtor who lived variously in Chicago and Milwaukee but had Madison connections. |
