Sheets 1-7 each show a section of the Wisconsin River between its mouth south of Prairie du Chien and Portage; sheet 8 shows a portion of the upper Fox River at Portage. Details shown include tributaries and their acreages drained, topography and vegetation of the of the river valley, discharge rates at various points, dams, cities and towns, and railroads. |
