Going Through the Narrows
Text on front reads: "Going Through the Narrows, Picturesque Wisconsin Dells." On reverse: "Here the river is only 52 feet wide and is over 150 feet deep. The Gorge of the Dells is 9 1/2 miles long. Along the east bank are ravines and canyons, the most important being Cold Water Canyon and Witches Gulch." A tour boat full of visitors is motoring through the Narrows on the Wisconsin River. A man on the stern is pointing to the formations. The banks are lined with rock formations and trees. |
