Steamer Rounding Devil's Elbow
Text on front reads: "Steamer Rounding Devil's Elbow, Dells of the Wisconsin River." On reverse: "This right angle bend in the river is known as the Devil's Elbow. This was named by the raftsmen, because of the great danger in rounding the bend while rafting their logs down the river." A steamer takes passengers on a tour of the Wisconsin River. Rock formations and trees line the shore. |
