Text on front reads: "Bay View Lodge on Presque Isle Lake, Winegar, Wisconsin." A forested point of land jutting into Presque Isle Lake. The far shore is in the distance. In 1905, J.J. Foster built a lumber mill and named the town Foster. In 1910, William S. Winegar bought the mill and renamed the town Winegar. Finally, in 1959, the town was renamed Presque Isle. |
