McLellan's Store Interior
Text on reverse reads: "July 1941. This is an interior view of the new store at West Allis, Wis. The photograph was taken from the front looking towards the rear of the store. W.L. Nolan." An interior view of a traditional "Five and Dime" variety store with merchandise displayed on counters and shelves. The store was opened in the 1920s as McLellan's, renamed McCrory's in 1963, Rentmeester's M.C. Variety in 1996 and finally closed at 1:00 pm on June 21st, 2005. |
