John Carlson Behind Bar
Two men are standing on either side of a saloon bar. The bartender on the right is identified as John Carlson. The bar has a stamped tin ceiling, and there is a large mirror behind the bar. In front of the mirror on the back bar counter is a large cash register with a clock on top. There is a spittoon on the floor in the foreground, and along the left wall is a woodburning stove. In the background the back wall is also of stamped tin, and there are saloon doors with a rack of antlers above it. A partitioned room with a pressed glass window and an opened door is in the right back corner, with a calendar on the right wall beside the door for September 1920. |
