Northernaire Showboat Waterfront
Text on front reads: "Northernaire Showboat Waterfront." Text on reverse reads: "Northernaire – Open Year-'Round. Three Lakes, Wisconsin." There are two images: on top is a view of Marty's Showboat Supper Club from Deer Lake, with a dock in front. Built to resemble a boat with a rounded bow, a second-story deck, and porthole windows. It was founded by two brothers, Carl Jr. and Bob Marty of Monroe, in 1946-1947. The bottom image is the lake shore with a dock, boat and pontoon boat. A person stands on the dock and the pontoon is filled with passengers. Beyond the dock is a small building, outdoor seating and a swing set. Trees are along the shoreline. |
