Company B, 49th Reg. Wisconsin Infantry Roster
A Civil War roster commemorating the soldiers of Company B in the 49th Reg. Wisconsin Infantry. There is an eagle at center top with a banner that reads: "The Government Framed By Our Fathers It Must And Shall Be Preserved." A banner on the left reads: "Our Country is Threatened Go To Their Rescue", and on the right the banner reads: "Our Country is Saved Welcome Welcome Home". At the bottom left are weapons, a soldier's cap and a trumpet displayed around a drum. At the bottom right are agricultural tools with a sheaf of wheat sitting on a basket of corn. |
