Text on front reads: "Superior, Wisconsin." On reverse: "Harry Wm. Hosford. This view was taken from the Arrowhead Bridge. It just unloaded its cargo of coal and will take on a load of ore and proceed to the steel mills in the lower lakes. Length - 512.9 ft. Capacity - 9,000 tons." The ship was launched as F.B. Squire and renamed in 1936. The harbor, city and hills are in the background. |
