Train Depot
Text on reverse reads: "C.M.ST.P. & P. Depot, Stoughton, Wisconsin. A Craftsman style structure built in 1913, it was abandoned by the railway in the 1970's and purchased by the city in 1988. Restored in 1990, it functions as a public meeting room and a museum of railroad memorabilia, old tools and wagons. Published by the Depot Restoration Committee." Today the Depot serves as an annex for the Stoughton Historical Society, a public meeting space and headquarters for the Stoughton Chamber of Commerce. |
