Rock Ledge
Text on reverse reads: "'Rock Ledge' Wisconsin's most picturesque gift shop located on the historical site at the Falls of the Sheboygan River, Sheboygan Falls." The dream of Helen Stroub, it was built on four different levels that followed the contours of the rock. The gift store was above and the apartment of Helen and Frank Stroub was below. Rock Ledge was dedicated on October 25, 1952. Originally the site of the old Rochester Co. sawmill and the Brickner Woolen Mills warehouse, it was empty for more than 50 years. ReMax/Universal Realty Company purchased it in 2021. |
